Shroud Had Too Many Viewers for Raid

One of the most popular twitch channels on the platform belongs to Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek and often times he likes to help out other streamers on Twitch.

One of the ways someone can do that is by raiding another channel, which will send all the viewers from one channel that is about to sign off, to another channel which is live. It’s a proven way to build branding and introduce viewers to another streamer.

Shroud attempted to do a raid on another streamer but was denied by Twitch because he simply had too many viewers.

“Sorry, you have more viewers than the maximum currently supported by raids right now” Shroud read for his audience. “I can’t raid anybody, so, you guys can go to either of these people,” Shroud said.

“I guess I’m just too famous. Suffering from success, you know. Story of my life.”
