DrDisrespect Says He Is Suing Twitch for Ban

Youtube streamer DrDisrespect isn’t quite over the fiasco in the Summer of 2020 that saw the popular content creator banned from streaming on Twitch, which led to his arrival on the Youtube platform.

DrDisrespect has announced that he is suing the Amazon owned Twitch platform for banning, while also hinting that he now knows the reason for the ban, which has been the topic of debate since his ban.

“I can’t talk about it, but a lot of people ask me, ‘Do you know the reason?’ Yeah, I do know the reason why now” DrDisrespect said (h/t Dot Esports). “I’ve known for months now—the reason why. And I’ll just say this right now, champs: there’s a reason why we’re suing the fuck out of them,” Dr Disrespect said with a laugh. “I don’t know how else to put it. The amount of damages and—you just don’t… Nah, nah.”

Doc also hinted towards the damages that he suffered due to the ban, including the loss of some high level partnerships.
