Warner Music Group Becomes First Major Recording Company to Partner with Twitch

Warner Music Group (WMG) has become the first major recording company to partner with Twitch in a deal that will see WMG artist channels, original music programming and more to the Amazon owned platform, according to Billboard.

As part of the deal WMG is launching artist channels for Warner Record artists Bella Poarch and Saweetie, as well as Atlantic Records singer and producer Sueco. Each artist will share exclusive behind-the-scenes content on their twitch music streams.

According to a media statement, the move “empowers Warner Music’s talent to tap into Twitch’s unique creator-driven model, opening up additional income opportunities, as well as access to Twitch’s fan engagement tools to get to know their audiences better”.
