The long-lasting lawsuit filed by Fortnite streamer Turner “Tfue” Tenney against popular esports organization FaZe Clan has finally come to a close thanks to a settlement made outside of court, according to Forbes’ Christina Settimi.
The 15-month contract dispute over both sponsorship opportunites and payment has now reached it’s long-awaited conclusion, and while no settlement amount was disclosed, it brings to an end one of the industry’s first major employment lawsuits.
“Faze and Turner Tenney are pleased to announce they have resolved their disputes and settled their litigations. The parties wish one another the best of luck in future endeavors,” an email statement sent to Forbes from both parties’ legal representation said.
Per the resolution, Tfue is officially no longer under contract or eligible to receive a paycheck, which he has been throughout the legal battle.
