Twitch has lifted the ban on the channel of President Donald Trump following a temporary suspension due to hateful comments made on his stream that was imposed back on June 29th.
While Twitch never officially detailed the reason behind Trump’s suspension, reports pointed out that a re-broadcast of Trump’s 2015 campaign rally where he made hateful comments towards immigrants coming to the United States from Mexico Central America, and South America, as one of the reasons for the suspension.
Twitch stated that “Like anyone else, politicians on Twitch must adhere to our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. We do not make exceptions for political or newsworthy content and will take action on content reported to us that violates our rules.”
Trump’s channel had been suspended for over 2 weeks.
