Twitch Clocks Over 1.7 Billion Hours Watched in 2020

Twitch had an amazing year in 2020, seeing phenomenal growth and clocking historic viewership numbers during the initial boom of the streaming industry, and now we get a better look at how strong 2020 was for the Amazon streaming platform.

According to a report from StreamElements and Arsenal.gg, Twitch grew from 9 billion hours watched in 2019 to an incredible mark of 17 billion in 2020, marking an 83% spike in hours watched.

With a strong 2020 in the books, Twitch is looking to take the next step in 2021, as the boom of the streaming and gaming industry continues.
