Techland streamed a special third episode of their web series Dying 2 Know, which takes a detailed trio into the world of Dying Light 2: Stay Human, hosted by lead game designer Tymon Smektała, and along with it came a new gameplay trailer.
One of the big takeaways from the episode and trailer, was the use of parkour mechanics when moving around the city, which was created with realistic motion capture animations, providing the player a feeling of dynamism. There was also a dive into the game’s weapons and combat system, which also integrates parkour elements.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human heads to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on December 7th.
